Ice Sculptures Under the July Sun
On Wednesday, July 12th at 3:00pm, come watch talented ice sculptors as they teach you how to carve musical instruments from blocs of ice. Then, members of the general public grouped into four teams of four, will have the opportunity to try their hand at ice sculpting under the guidance and supervision of the pros.
Now a unique tradition at the festival, the Monday evening Acoustic summit returns with exceptional un-plugged performances featuring Adam Karch, Charlie A’Court, Sean Pinchin with Dione Taylor, John Campbelljohn, Steve Marriner and Samantha Matin.
This year the artists will be performing musical selections from artists that influenced them in some way along their artistic journeys. These collaborative performances will be set in a song-writers circle environment within the majestic Place St-Bernard.

Every day at 1 p.m., starting on Saturday July 8, you get the chance to meet festival performers, who will be on hand to meet fans. Join other diehard blues fans or the artists themselves to talk about music and the latest trends or to swap juicy stories and tricks of the trade. Artist then meet you under the dome and sign autograph.
Now becoming an annual tradition at the Festival, Blues'araoke is back by popular demand! For the two weekends of the festival, talent will audition with the group Wang Dang Doodle for a shot at eternal fame. Are you ready to play and cheer on the gang of brave souls who will fight back the fear in order to entertain you and pretend they’re singing to an audience of 100,000? A whole lot of fun to be had.
Come and try the Blues’araoke on Place des Voyageurs stage on July 9 and 16 at 2:30 p.m. and get a chance to perform live with a band on CASINO stage at Place Saint-Bernard on Sunday, July 17th at 1:30 p.m. Will you be the next Blues star?
The winner will get a guitar offered by La Boîte à Musique.

Saturday afternoons, we yield the Place des Voyageurs stage to the public. Register by sending an email to bluesAraoke@avtremblant.com and come sing some Blues’araoke on Saturday, July 8th and 15th at 2:30pm. You could earn a spot to perform with Wang Dang Doodle on the Casino stage at Place Saint-Bernard on Sunday, July 16th at 1:30pm. Will this be your big break?
To savour the moments long after they’re gone, pick up an official garment of the Tremblant International Blues Festival at the Boutique. You will find a new collection of fun clothing and accessories.
The Boutique is in the Blues Square at Place des Voyageurs and is open every day from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Cigar Box Guitar Workshop
Ghost Town Blues Band’s Matt Isbell hosts this workshop where amateur musicians who have purchased a cigar box guitar kit will learn how to assemble and use the guitar. You’ll also learn how to build a guitar from other household items. When it’s all done, you’ll walk away with a working instrument.
The workshop will be held on Sunday, July 9th from 1:00 to 2:30pm at Blues Square on Place des Voyageurs. A limited quantity of cigar box guitar kits will be available for purchase at the Festival boutique.
Harmonica 101 Workshop With Gary Allegretto
Budding musicians of all ages and ability levels can get a rare opportunity to learn from a professional. Simply purchase a harmonica in the festival boutique (limited to 100 only), and you will get the chance to learn a blues number with Gary Allegretto on Sunday, July 16th from 1:00 to 2:00pm. Participants will then be invited to perform the song on the Casino stage on Place Saint-Bernard at 4:30pm with Gary!
The traditional closing jam that sounds out the final chords of this 23rd edition. Wang Dang Doodle led by Marc Parent has the honor of directing traffic and entertaining the fans in attendance. Among the many guests expected, Carl Tremblay, Jim Zeller, Pat Loiselle, Kenny Blues Boss Wayne and Andria Simone. The celebration of 10 days of great music continues in the festival bars!

Loto Québec Musical Bicycles
A fun and interactive activity awaits you at the tent at the top of the Cabriolet lift. Choose one of four stationary bicycles, each connected to an instrument (guitar, bass, drums, etc.). The faster you pedal, the louder you play. Compete with your friends and family to see who will be loudest!

In a show that combines live performances and multi-media elements, blues legend John Hammond hosts this one-of-a-kind experience. Through music, film clips and storytelling, witness the great moments in blues music from early last century to today.
The Festival’s Public Piano
Watch for the Festival’s colourful upright piano to pop up here and there throughout the week. Come find it to tickle the ivories and enjoy a concert made for onlookers.
